Trade Book Central is a trading journal SaaS designed, built, and operated by Creative Brain Inc., a Brampton digital agency in the Greater Toronto Area. We shipped it in public, run it on our own infrastructure, and use it as a working reference for how we build SaaS for our clients.

What it does
Trade Book Central is a trading journal for retail and prop-firm traders. You log trades across stocks, options, futures, and crypto, attach setup notes and screenshots, and review performance against the rules you wrote down before the trade. The goal is the one outcome a spreadsheet can't give you — proof of which setups actually make money for you and which ones you keep taking out of boredom.

The build story
We started Trade Book Central because the journals we'd tried as traders fell into two camps: brittle spreadsheets that broke the moment you wanted to filter by setup, or opinionated platforms that forced you into someone else's playbook. We wanted a tool that respected how an individual trader actually thinks — a plan, a trade, a review, repeated honestly — without burying that loop under social features or noise.
Creative Brain Inc. designed the product, wrote the code, shipped the first version, and runs it today. The architecture is the same stack we recommend to clients on a 14-day Sprint: Next.js on the front, a typed data layer in the middle, Supabase (Postgres) for storage, Clerk for auth, and Stripe for billing. Building and operating our own SaaS is what keeps our agency advice honest — we've paid every bill, fixed every regression, and answered every support email this product has ever generated.
