How we ship enterprise web in 14 days

The 14-day Sprint is the operating model, not a marketing claim. Day 0 is a discovery call where we walk your existing stack, talk to the people who will own the code after we leave, and agree on a deployable scope. Days 1-3 are a clickable prototype on a staging branch you can hit from your browser. Days 4-11 are heads-down build: real database, real auth, real payments where needed, real tests. Days 12-14 are code review, docs, hand-off, and production cutover. You get daily progress in writing and a working app at the end. No "phase 2" promises, no perpetual retainer attached.

What we actually build with

Next.js 16 (App Router) on Vercel or Netlify for the front-of-house. React 19 with TypeScript for type safety end-to-end. Tailwind CSS 3.4 for styling, Shadcn/ui for the component primitives we do not want to maintain. Supabase + Postgres for the data layer when you do not already have one; pgvector when you need search or RAG. Clerk for auth so we do not roll our own. Stripe for payments. Resend for transactional email. We pick boring, proven technology so your team can maintain it after we hand it over. Where you already have a stack — Rails, Django, Laravel, .NET — we work in it instead of forcing a rewrite.

Code ownership transfers in full

Repo lives in your GitHub or GitLab org from day one. Every commit is yours. We do not retain a proprietary layer that we license back to you. We do not introduce vendor lock-in to our internal tooling. When the Sprint ends, your team owns every line of code, every migration file, every CI workflow. If you want us to keep going post-Sprint we charge a second 14-day Sprint at the same fixed price — no retainer hooks, no scope drift built into the contract.

When you should not hire us for web development

We will tell you upfront if a project is wrong for the Sprint model. Things we routinely decline: rebuilds of mature enterprise systems that need 6+ months of stakeholder management; projects with more than 4 weeks of procurement before kickoff; work for clients with no internal engineering capacity to receive the hand-off; anything where the requirements are still being debated. What stack do you build web applications on?
Next.js (App Router) and React on the front, TypeScript end-to-end, Postgres via Supabase for data, Clerk for auth, and Stripe for payments. We use the same stack we ship to production on Trade Book Central, our own SaaS.
Can you take over an existing codebase instead of starting from scratch?
Yes. We regularly inherit Next.js, React, or Node projects, do a paid 1-week audit, and either continue feature work or migrate the parts that are blocking growth. We will not pretend a rewrite is needed when a refactor will do.
How fast can you start?
Most engagements start within 1-2 weeks of the discovery call. If you need to start sooner, tell us on the call — we keep a small amount of capacity reserved for urgent work and will be honest about whether we can meet your date.
Do you work with companies outside Canada?
Yes. Creative Brain Inc. is based in Brampton, Ontario but works across North America, the EU, and AU. We bill in CAD, run async across time zones, and overlap a few hours daily with your team for live work.
